So often on the public highway another traveller will act in a selfish, stupid, rude, or thoughtless way. It happens frequently. It is obvious that they do not care. They hurry, cut in front impatiently, or turn without a warning. This shows disrespect and uses anonymity to take advantage.

This offends and angers me. It provokes me. I want revenge. I want to show them what it means to be slighted. I speed up and become competitive, or slow down and obstruct.

What foolish responses! To imitate the very things that bother me is pointless. Why does it seem inevitable?
